It is comfortable seating for both short and taller people (with or without a footstool.) It has a medium sized footprint. The armrests are wide and slope back gently. It appears to be well built and feels sturdy...time will tell. The chair was well packed and protected for shipping, and it arrived promptly. This chair is my favorite chair to sit in by the pool. They are so comfortable that we brought them inside when it was so cold, so that we could continue to sit in them. They are very well made, and beautiful. They do sit low to the ground, so they’re really only fit outdoors, and they look like patio chairs, beautiful ones!
